Dr. Te’Asia Jordan is an educational leader, qualitative researcher, and scholar-practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of college access, workforce development, and community engagement. As a West Michigan native with experience spanning nonprofit, higher education, and community-based organizations across the Midwest and Southern United States, she has led initiatives that expand educational opportunities, strengthen career pathways, and foster meaningful partnerships that support individual and community success. Her expertise includes strategic planning, program development, student success, organizational leadership, partnership cultivation, and translating research into practical solutions that create measurable impact.

Dr. Jordan earned a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University, followed by a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences, Educational Policy Studies & Evaluation from the University of Kentucky. Drawing upon a multidisciplinary foundation in American music, student affairs, and educational research, her work bridges academic scholarship with practical strategies that strengthen individuals, institutions, and communities. Her dissertation examined the success strategies of professional African American women navigating predominantly White higher education institutions, drawing upon Black Feminist Thought and scholarship addressing exclusionary institutional norms. Her research and professional practice reflect a commitment to advancing equity, leadership development, and access to opportunity across educational and workforce systems. A proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Dr. Jordan is dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through education, service, and collaborative leadership.
