Brianna Huynh currently serves as a Research Associate at The Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS). Prior to joining TICAS, Brianna worked across state and national non-profits to advance access to higher education. She served as the Andrew Howard Nichols Fellow at EdTrust-National, leading racial equity-focused policy research on college access and affordability. She also contributed to data analysis and program development at APIA Scholars and supported policy implementation as a summer policy fellow with The Campaign for College Opportunity.

Brianna’s policy work is informed by her own educational journey. A Sacramento native, she began her undergraduate studies at American River College before transferring to Pomona College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She is currently completing a master’s in mathematics at Cal Poly Pomona, with anticipated graduation in Spring 2026. Her master’s thesis investigates how community college transfer students majoring in mathematics navigate the transition into upper-division coursework.
