We want your story about student debt! Click here.

During the last economic recession, a surge of enrollment in career education and online programs was driven by deceptive, emotionally manipulative, and high-pressure sales tactics. Hundreds of thousands of students were left with heavy debts and worthless educations.

This year – in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic – the Trump Administration completed its work to dismantle student protections intended to prevent future abuses. The Gainful Employment regulations, established in the Obama era, were fully rescinded and programs no longer have to disclose information about their programs or student outcomes.

With the country deep in a global health crisis that has forced an economic recession, the newly elected Biden-Harris Administration must ensure students are protected in this time of unprecedented uncertainty.

If you have a degree or college credits but limited job prospects, we want to hear from you! We will share your stories directly with policymakers. They must protect students against overpriced, low-quality schools that left them unable to find meaningful, relevant jobs or repay their loans.
