My name is Tristin Fowler, and I am from Waco, Texas. My academic journey began at Pasadena City College, where I transferred to UCLA, where I double majored in History and African American studies. I then completed my Master’s in Education at San Diego State University, and now I am currently pursuing my Doctorate at the University of Southern California. As a new counselor and faculty instructor, I am passionate about serving students, especially those from underserved communities. My own experiences overcoming adversity inspire me to support and motivate students, especially Black boys and girls, to achieve their full potential.

In addition to my professional commitments, I love spending time with my daughter and biking whenever I can. My journey is a testament to the resilience and transformative power of education, and I strive to make a significant impact on my students and community.
