Monika Cantu is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a Graduate Research Assistant funded by the National Science Foundation, developing an innovative framework for Hispanic-serving institutions to support Latino STEM students, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Additionally, she worked at the Library of Congress last summer and was named a 2024-2026 UCEA Jackson Scholar. She endorses equal rights, combats discrimination, and advocates for Latino communities with mental health matters, migration, language barriers, and overall success. Monika seeks to influence policies, amplify Latino voices, and create inclusive education.
