Mia Elliott currently serves as a Senior Research Associate at TICAS. Prior to her role at TICAS, she supported the higher education research team at EdTrust-National, engaged in policy and advocacy on scholarship displacement and scholarship taxation at Scholarship America, and contributed to the Center for Justice & Economic Advancement at Jobs for the Future. Mia earned her bachelor’s degree in public affairs and political science from UCLA, where she also minored in education studies and global studies. During her time at UCLA, she also helped conduct data collection and analysis for a community college’s calculus intervention program.
