- What are you most excited about working in the Michigan policy space? I’m most excited about closing the gaps in achievement amongst under represented people groups, ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.
- What impact would you like to leave for students in the higher education policy space? Higher education should be an option and accessible to everyone. I want remove barriers that prevent people from pursing higher education. No one should never feel like attending college is impossible.
- What is something you wish people knew about pursuing higher education in Michigan? As time progresses, pursing higher education is becoming more and more accessible. Michigan has several programs that help people get an education. Michigan offers loan forgiveness for careers in high need, achievement scholarships for students coming from low-income families, and programs that help adults go back to school.
