Kesa Jessup is a higher education advocate and faculty with over fifteen years of experience supporting students at universities and community colleges. She champions educational access, affordability, equity, and socioeconomic equality for transformational learning and family-sustaining careers. Kesa earned degrees from North Carolina Central University and Appalachian State University and is pursuing a doctorate at North Carolina State University. She has served in financial aid and retention positions and has been a comprehensive enrollment management leader. She serves as Program Director-Access to Postsecondary Education at the Winston-Salem Foundation and teaches African American History at North Carolina A&T State University.
