- What is something you wish people knew about pursuing higher education in Michigan? I wish people knew how beneficial college is in the present and in the future. In the present it can help a person learn about a particular interest they have and have life learning experiences that they wouldn’t elsewhere. Where for your future, it can help you gain skills in a particular field that can help you secure a job.
