This issue brief details how the vast majority of financial aid award letters analyzed by TICAS failed to effectively communicate critical information to prospective students, and provides examples of the most problematic elements of those letters. To ensure that award letters are clear and comparable, TICAS recommends standardizing the key elements of award letters.
