FAQ | Keeping Your Constituents Informed: California’s New, Historic Investments in Financial Aid and Education Data
The 2020-21 California Budget included major investments in college affordability that will go far in supporting underserved Californians’ ability to get to and through college successfully while reducing their reliance on overly burdensome debt and work hours. Included alongside these momentous investments is also significant funding for high quality education statewide, which will allow policymakers, educators, and the public to better understand and address disparities in educational and economic opportunities, ensure accountability over taxpayer expenditures, and improve outcomes for students throughout California.
